Last week we celebrated World Environmental Health Day, a day to raise awareness about environmental issues and the direct impact they have on human health. 

Our environmental health workforce is on the frontline of protecting our community by monitoring and enforcing public health legislation, undertaking risk assessments, responding to disasters, investigating diseases, and so much more.

Meet the Director of Nutrition and Food Services at Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ, Nicole Ross, who is sharing her knowledge about dietary and food services with the design team for the new Coomera Hospital. Her team¡¯s insights ensure, that from the get-go, the needs of the staff who will use the space are central to the design, resulting in a patient-focussed, efficient and innovative food service.

Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ Cardiac Scientist Braden Dinham has been actively providing input on the development of the new Coomera Hospital as a member of the Project User Group. His involvement highlights the importance of clinician consultation in creating effective health care facilities.
